#gymlife

Hey! So it's been over a month 😁!

Just wanted to let me know how I've been doing for a while.

Well! Excluding this week I have been going to the gym about 3 days a week which is amazing for me considering I didn't do any exercise this time last year!

I'm getting my car fixed this week.. Hence why I haven't been at the gym!

I'm finally getting my periods sorted out, which may seem random but I'm looking forward to it!

My friends are finally finished uni so I can have them back!

I just want to focus on the good things today so there are some of the many things I'm greatful for!

The girl in 6e review

Good evening my dear readers!

So my friend told me that she flew through this book so I thought I would give it a bash!

It was a good book, a "thriller" of sorts. I found my self wondering more about her past and her relationship with Jeremey, the post man and less wondering about the main story line.  I was annoyed that the book was so long but the actual storyline only started half way through the book. I was more excited when Mike called than when she made her movements and, again, I wished I got to know more about the very strange relationship with Jeremy!

I know they have a second book out and I may read it too. I know I would like to hear more about her family past!

Anyway, it's a quick and mindless read that will leave you wanting more, I don't know if I would totally recommend it but I wouldn't tell people not to read it!

What do you think about the book?

Love, Tanya mini review

Hey!

So I sent a challenge to read 6 books in a weekend and this is my second... It's basically a beautiful picture book with lots of lists so it didn't take long to read! I do think it's the kind of book that you could go back to lots and lots depending on your situation. From fashion tips to cooking and help when dealing with stress this book has it all.

The best bits for me were when she spoke about her relationship with her and Jim's families and her travel experiences.

The worst or most pointless bits of the book, for me anyway, we're just the "you list this" bits as I don't want to right in a book and I don't know who would need to write in it? It just seemed like a waste of a page bug I could be wrong!

The photos Tanya put in the book were so nice and it was amazing to see her as more of a "model" than just a cute makeup guru off the internet!

The next you tuber book I would like to be a thing would be tanya's partner Jim as his life seems really interesting! I think I'm just a little obsessed with the Chapman's!

What did anyone else think of the book?

I hate my selfie review

What's up!

I finished the first of my 6 books in one weekend challenge!

The first one I read is Shane Dawson's, I hate my selfie. Which is a collection of essays about his life so far.  As a watcher of shane since 2008 I have heard most of these stories before so it was nice to hear about them in more depth. I think that if you hadn't really watched Shane then you wouldn't get his comedy or understand where some of the stories were coming from.  The best bits of the book for me were when he talked about his love life with HeyNadine or how much he loves Lisbug!

I was disappointed that he never spoke about his short time at maker and that sometimes he joked too much when I just wanted to know how he really felt about the situations! But I Suppose that's just who Shane Dawson is, a comedian with a rough past.

My verdict is read it if you watch the guy and skip it if you don't!

What did you think of the book? Do you agree with me or think I'm speaking shite??

Youtube books

Hey everyone,

I bought a couple of books by youtubers today and I'm looking forward to reading them!

Firstly, I got "I hate my selfie" by Shane Dawson as a recommendation from my friend Ben who said it was hilarious.  Shane is the first youtuber I ever started watching so I've watched him grow and grow in to the man he is today.  I wasn't going to buy his book thinking it was just another "youtuber book" but even reading the first chapter has made me laugh out loud!

After I picked up Shane's book I decided to get "All I know now" by Carrie Hope Fletcher.  I planned on buying this book for a while but when it came out Carrie started saying about how it was for teenagers going through tough times and I thought to myself "I'm not a teenager anymore".  Then I thought to myself, I might not be a teenager anymore but I was one and I think I would enjoy hearing other peoples stories!  So I bought it and of all the books that I've bought recently I am the most excited to read this!

Finally, I was about to go and pay when I saw that Love, Tanya by Tanya Burr was £2 off and I just decided to go for it and buy this as well.  This is the book I am least likely to sit and read right through but I think it would be nice to have.  If nothing else, its a pretty coffee table book!  Hopefully I will really like it once I start reading it as I LOVE Tanya!

Anyway,  I will let you know what I think about the books, please let me know if there are any other youtuber books you think I would like?

P.s.  I have already read Girl online by Zoella - blog post here :)

The body shop drops of youth!

Hey everyone,

So Zoella.. You all know her! Has been raving about this new skin care product called "drops of youth bouncy sleeping mask" by The body shop and it just sounded AMAZING to me!

Firstly, it's a sleeping mask that you don't have to wash off in the morning!! WHAT? You get to put something on your skin that's going to act as a mask and a night cream? Yes please!

Second, its both a moisturizer and a gel which is even more amazing than it sounds! I can't even begin to describe how nice it feels!

The only downside I have it already is that it comes with a little spatula that you can't attach anywhere on the tub but I think you would need it to make sure you don't put too much product on your face.

It cost £22 which is a lot of money for me to spend on skincare as I've never spent that before but everyone I speak to says it's really cheap!

Anyway boys and girls, I've put it on tonight and I'll let you know how it goes after a couple of uses!

Let me know if you've got it too and what you think of it?

Lots of love

My everyday skincare routine

Hiya everyone!

Today I thought I would give you a quick overview of my current skincare routine..

I have never before been into skincare but this year decided I needed to be so I went to boots and bought some products at the start of the year.  Now after a couple of months I have finally found a routine and products that I really like using!  I used to just use a face wipe then simple moisturiser every night and morning and will still use my simple moisturiser in the mornings when at the gym.

The first step is to use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing water with 2 cotton pads (more if its a heavy makeup day) and I swear this gets off SO MUCH makeup!! As I said, I used to use face wipes and I still have them but when I found out that there is only 1 ingredients different from a face wipe and a floor wipe I just couldn't continue using them on a daily basis! This water takes off so much dirt even if I'm not wearing make up and I love it so much!

The next step for me is to use my toner.  For this I just use the Boots essentials cucumber facial toner.  I love this stuff!  I started off by buying the whole skin range from the cucumber boots essentials range and I really liked it! the night cream was nice and the cleanser was good too.  I just didn't like having to get up when I used my cleanser and I found a night cream that was better!

After this I go on to using the Lush lip scrub called "The Kiss."  I think this was a valentines day special but there are plenty other lipscrubs that have great reviews online.  I love the smell of this scrub and feel like it has been working wonders on my lips since I started using it!  I don't use this every night but when I've been wearing lipstick all day, its a must!

Once I have done all of the hard work my face feels really fresh and this is the perfect time to put a nice thick night cream on.  I am in love with the Nivea daily essentials regenerating night cream!  I put it on my face and neck before I go to my bed and in the morning my face feels so bouncy and like its full of moisture!  I have gotten all the girls at work onto using night creams as it makes such a difference to me when I am applying make up in the morning!

On my body I use the Zoella creamy madly dreamy body lotion.  I know its a classic youtuber product but I am obsessed with the smell and it feels really nice when applied.  I don't know if I will buy this again but I am enjoying it whilst I have it :)

I am still really new to loving my skin so if anyone has any suggestions I would love some feedback and advice on what I should buy next?

Lots of love
