My updated skincare routine

Hey, hi, hello!

I know this is a little bit different from my recent postings of Christmas movies galore but I noticed that one of my post popular posts was my skincare. I decided to read what I had written and decided that my skincare had changed and evolved a lot recently!

so to start I take a cotton pad or 2 or 5 ( depending on my makeup application that day) and use the Sephora Triple Action Cleansing water. I love this stuff but I love the packaging even more! Once this product runs out I'm going to have to find a new cleansing water but I'm going to decant it into this bottle because it is so clean and easy to use! (Advice on new cleansing waters please?)

Then I go on and use the body shops Nutriganics refreshing toner. This stuff is lovely! I just take another cotton pad and wipe it a cross my face. It really is refreshing!

After that I go on to using the body shop drops of youth concentrate. Just one big long drop goes onto the back of my hand then dotted around my face. I always put it on so it goes upwards on my face as it makes my face feel like it's had a facelift! As a 22 year old I can only imagine what it would do to someone with real wrinkles!

Then I go on to the good stuff! The stuff that dreams are made of! The bodyshop drops of youth bouncy sleeping mask! It's not cheep but it's totally worth it! It is like a deep moisturizing mask and you wake up to actual bouncy skin!! This is my ultimate night cream that I never thought I would need!

Lastly, it's time for lipbalm, I just use what ever lip balm is near me at the time as I have A LOT of lip balms!

Lastly lastly, I use the "this works" sleep roller ball on my pulse points, close my eyes and go to sleep.. This stuff really does work!

I don't currently have a day time moisturizer, I've just been using my primer for the day before I put anything on!

This has been my routine for about 6 months and I really would/and have repurchase everything!

I do need your help with finding a new cleanser though as I don't have a Sephora near me and this one is running out fast.  It's also way to expensive to just buy online when you can get a good cleanser for just a couple of pounds!

Let me know what you think about my cousins and if there is anything you would change?

Over and out, Alanna xx

P.s. I swear this isn't sponsored!

Arthur Christmas movie review

Ho Ho Ho! Arthur Christmas is a cartoon movie showing a whole new side to the Claus family!

3 santas competing to beat eachother in their different generations and one Santa who doesn't even know that he's in the running!

This movie is 100% safe to watch with kids, watched it just after elf and they were glued to the tv!

My categories

What was my favorite part?
I like when Arthur is happily writing letters to the kids to let them know how amazing Santa, his dad, is. It's so nice to see and reminds me how much I love my dad!

Who was my favorite character?
Margret, or Mrs Claus. She is a true mother figure! Always ready, not expecting credit and impartial to any of the poop! She's so funny for a character who isn't in the limelight all the time!

Where did I find this movie to watch?
I have this movie on dvd πŸš‚

All I want for Christmas movie review

Stumbling across Netflix in hope of inspiration, my account got stuck on a film called "all I want for Christmas" which is a 1991 comedy.

It's a movie about a broken family but what's nice is that the 2 childrens stories are separate so you get the laughs from a teenage boys problems and the seriousness from the little girls dramas!

My categories

What was my favorite part?
I loved it when hallie and her nana sing "baby it's cold outside" to the Christmas party, it's so cute!

Who was my favorite character?
Hallie, the little girl, has to be my favorite! She is so overly dramatic and her sass is very impressive!

Where did I find this movie to watch?
This one is on Netflix!

*a good tip is to google, "lifetime movies" this will give you a good range of made for TV movies!

Would I watch this again?
I probably wouldn't go looking for this movie again but if it was on channel 5 movies and I wasn't doing anything then I wouldn't say no to snuggling up ans waiting for it to finish ;)

RATING

At least I can say I've never seen this one before today so I don't regret watching it to tick it off my list :)

Have yourself a merry little Christmas!

Lots of love, Alanna xxx

Elf movie review

Hello my little gumdrop buttons!

Please see below one of my favorite movies to watch! I was watching these with my 8 year old, true believer, cousins and I was terrified incase this said that Santa wasn't real!

The movie is about buddy the elf traveling to NYC to meet his corporate dad who never knew he existed! - as if you didn't know what this movie was about!

My categories

What was my favorite part?
I get chills at the end of the movie, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing aloud for all to hear!

Who was my favorite character?
Buddy the elf, what's your favorite colour?

Where did I find this movie to watch?
I have this movie on dvd 🎁

*a good tip is to google, "lifetime movies" this will give you a good range of made for TV movies!

Christmas with the kranks movie review

BAH HUMBUG! Another Christmas review! Today it's a Tim Allen special!

Christmas with the kranks is a movie I could never be bothered watching because it was in the weird tv film-actual movie genre if that makes sense at all?

But anyway, I watched it and I laughed, which surprised me! I go through stages of being ALL ABOUF CHRISTMAS and being a SCROOGE so I could totally get why they would want to go on a cruise!  As I said in a previous review (see my naughty and nice review) I am all about crazy neighbors so this film was surprisingly right up my alley!

 My categories

What was my favorite part?
For me the best bit was when Luther (tim) gave up his tickets to the cruise to his neighbors! I thought that was so nice and as a travel agent I am fully aware of how much a cruise costs, and the cost and effort that goes in to name changes! Even more amazing is that he offers to look after the cat! Talk about commitment!

Who was my favorite character?
Can I have two? It's my blog so yes, I will have two!! The two police men charged with getting Blair home for Christmas made me laugh so much! They were just your typical movie duo who also sang in a band!

Where did I find this movie to watch?
Channel 5 for this one, I do think you can get it in supermarkets for around £3 on dvd though!

*a good tip is to google, "lifetime movies" this will give you a good range of made for TV movies!

Would I watch this again?
Yes, I would watch this again! And I would recommend it to friends!

Snow queen movie review

HOLA! I am SO excited to be writing down my thoughts on this movie!

I remember watching snow queen when I was a heck of a lot younger than I am now and when I got a little bit older I remember getting it in a DVD in the paper! But through all the years of organizing and making messes the did has gotten lost and I had given up all hope of watching it again! Then I came across it on YouTube and the romance of Gertrude and Kai was reborn!

The movie is about the seasons and how important every season is! It was made in 2002 so has that amazing naughty's feel to it!  I could go on and on and on about this movie all day but I'll just say it's worth the watch and go on to my categories for next time i come across it!

My categories

What was my favorite part?
The summer palace! In the summer palace when people dream on a certain bed then the dreams can be seen floating and dancing around the castle, it's beautiful and such a nice thought.

Who was my favorite character?
Autumn was my favorite character because she was a sassy pirate!  I couldn't find any photos of her but she reminds me of a red headed Gwen staffani!

Where did I find this movie to watch?
On YouTube! Just google it!

*a good tip is to google, "lifetime movies" this will give you a good range of made for TV movies!

Would I watch this again?
YES I WOULD! I will say though, you would have to be in the mood to watch it as the movie is over 2 hours long!
