My updated skincare routine

Hey, hi, hello!

I know this is a little bit different from my recent postings of Christmas movies galore but I noticed that one of my post popular posts was my skincare. I decided to read what I had written and decided that my skincare had changed and evolved a lot recently!

so to start I take a cotton pad or 2 or 5 ( depending on my makeup application that day) and use the Sephora Triple Action Cleansing water. I love this stuff but I love the packaging even more! Once this product runs out I'm going to have to find a new cleansing water but I'm going to decant it into this bottle because it is so clean and easy to use! (Advice on new cleansing waters please?)

Then I go on and use the body shops Nutriganics refreshing toner. This stuff is lovely! I just take another cotton pad and wipe it a cross my face. It really is refreshing!

After that I go on to using the body shop drops of youth concentrate. Just one big long drop goes onto the back of my hand then dotted around my face. I always put it on so it goes upwards on my face as it makes my face feel like it's had a facelift! As a 22 year old I can only imagine what it would do to someone with real wrinkles!

Then I go on to the good stuff! The stuff that dreams are made of! The bodyshop drops of youth bouncy sleeping mask! It's not cheep but it's totally worth it! It is like a deep moisturizing mask and you wake up to actual bouncy skin!! This is my ultimate night cream that I never thought I would need!

Lastly, it's time for lipbalm, I just use what ever lip balm is near me at the time as I have A LOT of lip balms!

Lastly lastly, I use the "this works" sleep roller ball on my pulse points, close my eyes and go to sleep.. This stuff really does work!

I don't currently have a day time moisturizer, I've just been using my primer for the day before I put anything on!

This has been my routine for about 6 months and I really would/and have repurchase everything!

I do need your help with finding a new cleanser though as I don't have a Sephora near me and this one is running out fast.  It's also way to expensive to just buy online when you can get a good cleanser for just a couple of pounds!

Let me know what you think about my cousins and if there is anything you would change?

Over and out, Alanna xx

P.s. I swear this isn't sponsored!

Arthur Christmas movie review

Ho Ho Ho! Arthur Christmas is a cartoon movie showing a whole new side to the Claus family!

3 santas competing to beat eachother in their different generations and one Santa who doesn't even know that he's in the running!

This movie is 100% safe to watch with kids, watched it just after elf and they were glued to the tv!

My categories

What was my favorite part?
I like when Arthur is happily writing letters to the kids to let them know how amazing Santa, his dad, is. It's so nice to see and reminds me how much I love my dad!

Who was my favorite character?
Margret, or Mrs Claus. She is a true mother figure! Always ready, not expecting credit and impartial to any of the poop! She's so funny for a character who isn't in the limelight all the time!

Where did I find this movie to watch?
I have this movie on dvd 🚂

*a good tip is to google, "lifetime movies" this will give you a good range of made for TV movies!

Would I watch this again?
YES I WOULD and I will!

RATING

❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️out of ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

I would love for people to talk about this movie with me so comment down below and I promise to reply, as an extra insentive I will also check out your blog!

Love yah!

Presents to buy your mum and dad

Hola Christmas lovely's!

I thought I would give you a last minute gift idea.. maybe too last minute but its worth a look!

PARENTS

Mum

So I'll start off with my mum! I normally find it impossible to shop for my mum because she is SO fussy! But this year I found the perfect present! A mac voucher to get her makeup done in store! You get £30+ to get your makeup done in store and you get to buy up to the value of the products with this session!

I know my mum has been eyeing up my makeup so I am excited to give this to her.  I also got the same gift for my auntie and my mums best friend so they can all go in and get their makeup done together!

An alternative gift would be to go onto groupon or another website and buy a weekend away to share with someone.  My mum doesn't like getting material gifts because she is so fussy and knows what she likes so I love it when I can think out of the box. I think I jumped out of the box with this one!!

Dad

Next up is my lovely daddykins! I could get my dad so much stuff and know that he will never use it! He likes his motor bikes and just wants bike parts every year! BUT I WILL NOT BUY HIM BIKE BITS!

As before, I know that he would love a weekend away or a meal at a good restaurant but I didn't get this for him this year.

Options for your dad and where you can get them for nice prices
  • Wallet - Debenhams have some lovely wallets in different price ranges. I think that it is a great idea. and would work for my dad if he wasn't so bloody fussy with what kind he likes!
  • Watch - again, Debenhams has great options and price ranges.  I would love to get my dad a new watch but my dad has an obsession with watches and has way too many! I got my brother a watch last year from the airport and they had good options!
  • Belt - once more, Debenhams is a great option! This is what I got my dad this year, a nice leather belt. I think that he will use this and I wish I had thought about it before!
  • Jamma Bottoms - Now you could easily go to Debenhams for this! But I went to Primark and got a cosy pair! Its a running joke in my household that my dad always wears my mums stuff instead of his own! Her slippers, her dressing gown and her leggings under his bike leathers!! imagine that! a big manny in leggings!! So this year I got my dad some pyjama bottoms for when he is lounging about the house!  I hope I see him wearing them this year!

Let me know if you would get these people something else or if you would like to buy any of the below for yourself or a family member?

Lots of Love
